Powering Interlock Controllers and SCADA system are configured using a strict configuration process based on a common source of information, the LHC Layout and Controls Configuration Database. A script is used to produce a set of configuration files for each of the 36 industrial controllers,  Programmable Logic Devices and PVSS as shown below. In order to assure coherency of the individual files, all of them will be signed with a Cyclical Redundancy Check (CRC) checksum and continously verified by PVSS during operation.
